New York City Office of Technology and Innovation seeks a Senior Fellow in Product Design to design and ship resident-facing digital products end-to-end. You will lead research, interaction and visual design, and content design in collaboration with product managers, engineers, and policy teams to deliver accessible, high-quality experiences for New Yorkers.

You will work with city agencies to translate complex rules into intuitive interfaces, build prototypes, and help shape a scalable design

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with 4+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination.
• Experience designing for regulated or legacy environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
• Portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design and impact.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end design on resident-facing products from concept to launch.
• Move quickly through rapid prototyping, usability testing, and MVP iterations.
• Plan and conduct user research with New Yorkers and translate insights into design decisions.
• Design clear user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and agency staff throughout the build cycle.
• Ensure accessibility and contribute to a shared design system used across projects.
