Job summary

Dokken Engineering is seeking a experienced Right-of-Way Agent to join our multidisciplinary team at the Folsom headquarters. You will support property acquisition activities for public infrastructure projects and collaborate with property owners, public agencies, attorneys, appraisers, and other stakeholders.

You will review appraisals, negotiate acquisitions, and coordinate with title companies and project teams to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher required.
California Real Estate Salesperson License required.
Minimum two years in right-of-way acquisition or similar real estate roles.
Ability to travel throughout California and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Assist with acquisition of real property interests for public infrastructure projects.
Research property ownership, project impacts, and valuation information.
Review appraisals and assist in determining fair market value.
Negotiate acquisitions with property owners and representatives.
Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate timely acquisitions.
Prepare and interpret right-of-way documents and reports.
Maintain organized records of negotiations and project documentation.
Track activities and support project schedules and budgets.
