State of California’s Real Estate Branch seeks a Right of Way Agent / Associate Right of Way Agent to support the State Water Project Acquisition Unit. You will work under supervision to complete routine real property acquisitions and utility relocations, aiming to secure necessary rights statewide for civil projects.

The role involves preparing documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and potentially supporting related projects.

Formación

Experience handling negotiations for acquisition of properties
Experience preparing and processing real estate contracts, permits, leases, and other documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team or independently and manage multiple tasks
Experience with real estate data collection and record-keeping
Familiarity with GIS and real estate software preferred

Responsabilidades

Complete routine real property acquisitions and utility relocations
Support SWP projects and potentially CVFPB projects
Coordinate documents, title/escrow issues, and related support activities
Assist in ensuring property rights required for project certification are secured
Follow supervision and leverage duty statements for specific responsibilities
