Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our team in Howell, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting public projects and will preferably hold NICET I certification.

Responsibilities include inspections of roads, bridges, utilities; thorough documentation; quality control and compliance monitoring; and clear communication with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting public infrastructure projects.
• NICET I certification is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect public projects (roads, bridges, utilities) to ensure compliance with design specs and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records, photos, and reports; prepare inspection reports for clients/regulators.
• Collaborate with project managers/engineers to address construction and design issues promptly for quality and safety.
• Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to plans, specs, and safety protocols; address non-compliance.
• Communicate updates effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
