Job summary

Artheon seeks an experienced Construction Inspector to inspect heavy highway, bridge, and road projects in New Jersey, ensuring contractor compliance with plans, specs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include daily site inspections, material testing, and maintaining logs. Must have NICET II or higher, ACI Field Grade I, NJ road authority certifications, and strong MS Office skills; reliable transportation essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Heavy Highway construction.
• NICET II certification or higher.
• ACI Field Grade I certification.
• NJSAT and Rutgers TCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Observe work in progress to ensure procedures and materials adhere to project specs; inspect paving, drainage, and structural elements on site.
• Document Control: Prepare daily inspection reports and logs of materials and quantities.
• Safety & Compliance: Monitor work zones for proper safety measures, MPT compliance and OSHA regulations; enforce environmental rules.
