Job summary

Halff is seeking a Civil Engineering Director for the Public Infrastructure team in Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of experience in public infrastructure and utilities, with a PE license in Louisiana, and a strong Louisiana project network.

You will lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, drive project performance, and collaborate with business development to pursue new opportunities, while upholding quality control and client relationships across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Louisiana.
• Minimum 15 years in utility/public infrastructure design and related fields.
• Experience with Bentley/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; client and stakeholder engagement.
• Servant leader mentality with ability to train and mentor staff.
• Strong leadership and team management, with ability to guide diverse teams.
• Proven track record of winning projects and building client/teaming partner relationships in Louisiana.
