Job summary

Halff seeks a Senior Project Manager/Professional Civil Engineer for our Little Rock, AR office. You will lead design and construction for a broad range of public and private infrastructure projects, overseeing teams across offices and maintaining Arkansas client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil engineering for public works, roadway, drainage, and water/wastewater projects, with strong proposal and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or ABET-equivalent.
• PE license in Arkansas or transferable within 2 months.
• Experience in roadway design, drainage, detention, erosion & sediment control, modeling, reports, and design.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Experience in project scope development, fee development, and staffing projections.
• Experience in producing winning project proposals as lead PM.
• Strong ability to train and mentor staff.
• Proficient in project management, administration, and supervision.
• Ability to work in a multi-office team environment.
• Positive attitude and self-direction.
• Additional experience in Transportation or Land Development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver projects closely with the Team Leader.
• Manage design and construction of infrastructure projects.
• Oversee design quality and coordination with local entities.
• Mentor engineers, EITs, and CAD designers.
• Maintain client relationships across Arkansas.
• Engage in CSS/QA/QC practice and professional organizations.
• Lead design production and staff supervision across offices.
