The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Public Information Unit in Sacramento is seeking a Public Information Supervisor to direct, supervise, and improve intake consultations across DIR programs. You will train staff, ensure compliance with laws and policies, and coordinate with stakeholders to educate the public on labor law rights.

Responsabilidades

• Direct, supervise, plan, organize, and review intake consultation assessments for all programs within the Labor Commissioner’s Office (LCO).
• Provide ongoing training and education to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with all programs and stakeholders to promote education and access for the public and bring forth labor law enforcement awareness.
• Oversee a variety of special projects designed to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction with LCO’s claims and/or complaint processes.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Mission and Vision of the Division and execute duties in a Trauma Informed approach.
