Job summary

The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Public Information Unit seeks a Public Information Supervisor to lead intake consultation assessments across LCO programs. You will oversee staff, coordinate outreach, and ensure compliance with laws and department policies while driving education and access for the public.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, plan, organize, and review the work of team members who provide intake consultation assessments for all programs within the Labor Commissioner’s Office (LCO).
• Provide ongoing training and education to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with all programs and stakeholders to promote education and access for the public and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction with LCO’s claims and/or complaint processes.
