Qualifications

• Six years of experience in applying and/or enforcing state rules regulating motor carriers or public utilities, law enforcement, or public relations.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years in the areas above.
• Possession of a current Louisiana driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the point of contact for consumers, consumer groups, and utility personnel regarding rates, interruptions, policies, regulations, and complaints.
• Researches and relays information on rate structures, tariffs, and related services.
• Ensures consumer calls are answered promptly and complaints are resolved timely.
• Manages the Consumer Complaint Tracking System (CCTS) and ensures proper usage by staff.
• Maintains 24/7 on-call capacity during weather events and outages and communicates status to ratepayers.
• Prepares and submits vehicle maintenance logs and performance indicator reports.
