Huntsville Housing Authority seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform semi-skilled to skilled maintenance, repair, and preventive tasks across Agency buildings and housing units in Huntsville, AL. You will address work orders, complete unit turns, and maintain essential building systems in alignment with NSPIRE and HUD requirements.

The role requires multi-trade abilities in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, plus a commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years’ experience in building maintenance or related field.
• NSPIRE certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Knowledge of building systems: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC; safety compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance on Agency buildings, dwellings, common areas, grounds, and equipment.
• Respond to work orders and complete unit turns; address deficiencies and maintain site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with HUD NSPIRE standards and agency policies.
