Job summary

NYCHA is seeking a Staff Analyst to support the Administrative Services Division of the Applications and Tenancy Administration (ATAD) in advancing admissions and tenancy processes. The role provides analytical, operational, and management support to ensure effective service delivery, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or JD required or equivalent combination as detailed in the ad.
  • Experience working with budget, accounting, or economic research is acceptable as alternative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a large organization preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with development, implementation, and monitoring of projects including vacancy management and wait lists.
  • Create and revise department reports and oversee weekly/ad hoc reporting using Excel and Power BI.
  • Coordinate project implementation with stakeholders and staff.
  • Respond to inquiries from applicants, tenants, and departments.
  • Prepare analyses and planning materials as needed.
  • Evaluate methods and data to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
