Job summary

The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene invites applications for a City Research Scientist position focused on public health research and data-driven program oversight. Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate field of public health.
• Doctorate degree with specialization in an appropriate field for higher level.
• At least two years of responsible supervisory or research experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide research and data support for expansion of Relay at new hospitals.
• Develop protocols, communications materials, and presentations.
• Provide regular supervision to Wellness Advocates.
• Review program data to support data-driven supervision.
• Collaborate on reporting requirements and perform internal auditing.
• Lead discussions on ED data trends and training needs.
• Screen, hire, and onboard new Wellness Advocates.
• Conduct trainings for responders to non-fatal overdoses.
• Collaborate with Relay and BADUPCT staff to meet program goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
