Job summary

City of Midland, Texas is seeking a seasoned Public Health Nurse Manager to oversee nursing teams and clinical programs, ensuring efficient operations and policy compliance.

You will lead epidemiology activities, manage EMR systems, and collaborate with community partners to enhance public health outcomes. Requires a RN license, a bachelor’s in nursing, and substantial management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; RN license mandatory.
• 10 years experience as an RN with 3–5 years in management.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nurses and clinical programs; schedule and monitor activities.
• Develop and update policies and procedures; prepare required reports.
• Lead Epidemiology/Surveillance and disease outbreak response.
• Administer electronic medical records system.
• Manage clinical resources and supplies; assist with grants and reporting.
• Engage with community partners and stakeholders; provide education.
