Job summary

The Business Readiness & Quality Assurance Analyst at the Department of Public Health supports cross-functional testing, readiness, and release validation for Georgia’s vital records programs. The role collaborates with operations, Informatics, IT, vendors, and end users to ensure changes meet requirements and are ready for deployment.

Responsibilities include defining and executing structured testing, documenting defects, validating data, and maintaining evidence while protecting confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and experience in quality assurance, UAT, business analysis, system implementation, data validation, or related work
• Experience developing and executing UAT plans, test cases, test scripts, acceptance criteria, and release-readiness assessments for enterprise systems
• Experience in SQL, Excel, Tableau or Power BI to validate data, reports, dashboards, or automated business rules

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform routine-to-complex testing and readiness activities within approved standards.
• Identify defects and operational risks and recommend remediation and retesting.
• Validate data, business rules, and readiness for implementation; maintain evidence supporting decisions.
