Job summary

The Maryland Department of Health's MDH Behavioral Health Administration seeks a senior program administrator to oversee multiple overdose and infectious disease prevention programs within the Division of Prevention and Promotion in Catonsville. You will steer budgets, policy development, and staff supervision to advance population health goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with federal, state, and local partners, directing program evaluation, and ensuring compliance with grant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six years health or human services administrative or professional experience, including three years at a supervisory or managerial level
• Master's degree substitutes for one year of general experience; Doctorate substitutes for two years
• Experience developing policies, programs and managing public health grant programs

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple overdose and infectious disease prevention programs with a large annual budget
• Develop and implement public health policies and programs and set program goals
• Supervise program administrators and coordinate with federal, state and local partners
