Job summary

Rice County Public Health in Faribault, MN seeks a Public Health Planning Manager/Data Analyst to lead foundational public health responsibilities, including data collection, interpretation, and performance management to improve population health.

The role also serves as foundational public health grant manager, developing and implementing the agency’s performance system, and building community partnerships to drive community-driven health improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in statistical analysis.
• 3–5 years’ experience in program evaluation, planning, data analysis, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred in public health or related field.
• Experience in public health planning and data analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee foundational public health responsibilities and grant reporting.
• Interpret and visualize data to support decisions.
• Lead performance management and quality improvement.
• Assist with community health planning initiatives and needs assessment.
• Assist with communications plan for Public Health department.
• Build relationships with community and partners; engage in decisions.
