Job summary

Rice County is seeking a Public Health Planning Manager/Data Analyst to support foundational public health responsibilities through data analysis, performance management, andgrant reporting. The role requires leadership in data collection, interpretation, and visualization, plus collaboration with the management team on community health planning.

The position is onsite in Faribault, MN, with a schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Requires degree coursework in statistical analysis
• Minimum 3–5 years in program evaluation, planning, data analysis, or equivalent
• Prior work experience in public health planning and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Oversee foundational public health (FPH) responsibilities and FPH grant reporting
• Lead data collection, interpretation, and visualization
• Manage performance management and quality improvement activities
• Support community health planning including CHNA and CHIP processes
• Assist with the Public Health department communications plan
• Build relationships with community members and partners for data-informed decision making
• Perform other duties as necessary
