Job summary

Boston Public Health Commission seeks a program coordinator to support the Boston Healthy Childcare Initiative, healthy eating, physical activity, and chronic disease management. You will assist with outreach, materials, data collection, and reporting while working under team leads to ensure program success.

The role involves coordination of meetings, data reporting for grants, and collaboration with diverse community stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergrad/Grad in community health, nutrition, public health, social work, health communications or related field.
• Master’s degree in public health, Health Policy Administration, Social Work, Health Communications or related discipline required work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programmatic support for division programs and division-wide functions.
• Research and develop fact sheets, newsletters, and social media content.
• Assist coordination of workplace wellness initiatives and Healthy Eating Series.
• Coordinate education and training for community stakeholders, including outreach, enrollment, material prep, and data collection.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and division-wide projects.
• Organize internal/external workgroups, develop agendas, take notes, and follow up.
