Job summary

Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services seeks a Medical Countermeasure Coordinator to oversee SNS, CHEMPACK, and CRI, coordinating statewide planning and readiness activities. Qualifications include a public health or related degree, 2+ years in health data systems or education, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, emergency management, public administration, homeland security, or related field.
• Two years of job-related experience in health data systems or health education.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including public speaking.
• Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, coordination of people, engaging stakeholders, and quality improvement.
• ICS 100 or 200 Certifications.
• Ability to operate a computer and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Montana’s SNS, CHEMPACK, and Cities Readiness Initiative programs.
• Coordinate statewide medical countermeasure planning and readiness meetings.
• Provide education and training on CHEMPACK operations to partners.
• Lead logistics functions during public health emergency responses when needed.
