Job summary

The University of California, Davis seeks an LIMS System Specialist to support the management of patient records and data for public health laboratory testing across environmental and clinical labs. Reporting to the CLS leadership and CDPH collaboration, the role focuses on LIMS, ETOR/ELR, and web environments.

This full-time position, based at CDPH's Richmond campus, emphasizes system configuration, issue resolution, and development of new test panels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or CS or life sciences with IT training.
• 1–3 years coordinating application development efforts.
• 1–3 years troubleshooting application performance for users.
• 1–3 years in communications, marketing, or public relations.
• 1–3 years in data architecture, modeling, design, and data security.
• Ability to install, configure hardware and troubleshoot software.
• Ability to prepare data models and data mapping.
• SDLC knowledge and ability to document SOPs.
• Strong communication and teamwork across diverse groups.
• Experience with LIMS data management is preferred.
