Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a CA CLS license, demonstrate strong English communication, and adapt to variable shifts and overtime as required in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required.
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Current CA CLS License.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory tests by manual methods or automated devices.
• Procures specimens and analyzes data to support disease detection, diagnosis and treatment.
• Reports results accurately to ensure appropriate clinical decisions.
• Is accountable for accurate results.
