Job summary

University of California, Davis seeks a LIMS Manager to oversee electronic laboratory data exchange systems, lead data quality and governance, and drive LA/LDX initiatives across environmental and clinical labs. You will coordinate ITS, CLS, IDLD, and DEHL programs, shaping LIMS development and reporting capabilities to support public health surveillance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science or equivalent IT experience.
• 3–5 years of data integration experience.
• 3–5 years leading complex application development with a diverse technical team.
• 3–5 years troubleshooting performance issues for users.
• 3–5 years in communications, marketing, or public relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of the LDx/LIMS systems and data exchange.
• Lead data quality assurance and maintenance of the LIMS.
• Manage Cal-LIMS/E-LIMS and business analysis.
• Oversee Help Desk support.
• Develop training curricula and document SOPs.
