Job summary

County of Marin’s Health & Human Services Department seeks a Technology Systems Specialist I to deliver desktop and application support for end users, ensure secure devices, and assist in deploying CA health care applications.

The role requires onsite work across HHS locations, travel between sites, and strong customer service skills. Experience in public sector health IT is a plus; Live Scan background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Provide desktop and application support to end users of all knowledge levels.
• Experience in public sector health care environment and/or healthcare operations is preferred.
• Ability to triage and manage support calls with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of CA health care applications (e.g., CWS/CMS, MEDS, C-IV) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and application support to end users across departments.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for desktops and mobile devices.
• Manage end-user accounts, security policies, and device encryption.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on system upgrades and relocations.
