Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a motivated individual to support the ShowMe WorldCare Help Desk and assist with public health response initiatives in Jefferson City. You will help LPHA staff, hospitals, and labs use ShowMe WorldCare, addressing login issues, guiding system use, and training users in basic tasks.

The role emphasizes learning the system, collaborating with end users, and participating in special projects such as user acceptance testing and data quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Substitutions may be allowed).
• Ability to learn computer systems
• Customer service skills and communication in person, or via phone, e-mail, chat, online meeting, etc.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and work flexibly among multiple tasks/projects and user requests

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming ShowMe WorldCare Help Desk ticket and provide a response in a timely manner.
• Learn the basic features and functions of the ShowMe WorldCare electronic disease surveillance system in order to assist end users
• Perform routine data cleaning.
• Participate in appropriate meetings with end users related to system design, supporting their needs, and testing new system features/functions.
• Other duties as assigned such as one-time projects that may arise to support other teams managing ShowMe WorldCare or related systems.
