The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County is seeking a Government Operations Consultant I to support the CRI Coordinator and Preparedness team and, along with stakeholders, plan for all-hazards preparedness. The role involves operational, logistical, and clerical tasks supporting disaster relief and emergency response across multiple agencies.

Travel within Region 8 is required; the position demands independent judgment and strong knowledge of business practices, with confidentiality

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational and logistical support to disaster preparedness and recovery efforts.
• Coordinate procurement and inventory management of CRI supplies and equipment.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and credentialing of CRI volunteers and community outreach.
• Administer Ready Op and Everbridge emergency notification systems.
