Job summary

Florida is seeking a Government Operations Consultant II for the Agency for Health Care Administration in Tallahassee. The role focuses on surveying health care facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, and protecting patient safety through emergency preparedness and response activities.

The incumbent will develop plans, training materials, and presentations, coordinate with bureaus, and support updates to the Emergency Operations Plan and COOP.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of professional experience in program research, planning, evaluation, or administrative work.
• Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Preference will be given to candidates with emergency response and/or training experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and reporting to ensure facility compliance with federal and state rules.
• Prepare plans, training materials, and presentations for Emergency Preparedness.
• Maintain Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) updates and COOP documentation.
• Coordinate with team and manage Emergency Call Lists and related forms.
• Assist with data collection, training, and outreach to facilities.
