Job summary

The Florida Department of Health Palm Beach County seeks a Government Operations Consultant I to support the Preparedness Coordinator and team in all-hazards disaster preparedness and emergency response planning.

The role manages supplies, coordinates with emergency responders and healthcare partners, administers notification systems, and assists with training, drills, and community outreach related to public health emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with emergency responders, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders.
Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop recommendations and solve problems.
Knowledge of all-hazards preparedness, emergency management systems, and disaster response procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple issues simultaneously.

Responsibilities
