Job summary

Mississippi State Department of Health seeks a Research/Data Analyst Team Lead to provide leadership for data management, QA, performance monitoring, and analytics within the Office of STD/HIV.

The role directs collection and analysis of STD/HIV data to support statewide planning and compliance, supervising staff and leading development of reports and dashboards for trend identification and data-informed decisions across prevention and care programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of data analysis, data quality, and performance monitoring principles.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends and gaps, and support program planning.
• Knowledge of public health reporting requirements and program monitoring processes.
• Proficiency in data systems, reporting tools, and spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational, communication, and supervisory skills.
