Job summary

Alpha Omega Integration is seeking a Public Health Analyst to support the CDC HIV Prevention Capacity Development Branch. The role focuses on managing and analyzing quantitative epidemiologic and behavioral data primarily using SAS.

The analyst will generate surveillance outputs and support dissemination to stakeholders, with remote work flexibility and proximity to the Atlanta area preferred. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in health informatics/public health or related field with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health informatics, public health, statistics, or related field and 6 years of experience, or master's degree and 2 years or PhD.
• 2-3 years of experience generating SAS-based reports using PROC REPORT/PROC TABULATE and exporting to Excel, PDF, HTML.
• Experience manipulating and cleaning data with SAS functions, formats/informats, macros, and procedures.
• Experience with descriptive and inferential analyses and regression modeling (logistic or linear).
• Experience maintaining datasets, codebooks, and analytic documentation.
• Ability to communicate analytic results clearly and follow analytic plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and interpretation of data in SAS.
• Enter definitions of variables for survey questionnaires and set labels/strings.
• Generate data retrievals and summary outputs.
• Support dissemination and reporting of data to stakeholders.
• Write SAS programs to generate surveillance reports.
• Develop presentation graphics using MS Office tools.
