Job summary

Minnesota Department of Human Services is seeking an EDQ Data Team Lead in Saint Paul. The role guides the interdivisional data team, providing expert direction, technical guidance, and mentoring on performance measurement, risk adjustment, and utilization analysis for health care programs.

The position focuses on managing complex data analyses, improving payment methodologies, and informing management decisions with rigorous study designs and databases.

Qualifications

• Statistical analysis software such as SAS and/or SQL.
• Data analysis, transformation, interpretation and modelling (regression).
• Project management, report writing and presenting analyses.
• Skills to create tables/graphs using statistics and reports.
• Familiarity with health care data (claims, public health, EMR).

Responsibilities

• Directs analytical efforts supporting Medicaid program integrity.
• Leads analysis of encounter data for Managed Care compliance.
• Leads analysis to estimate health care needs and evaluate payment methods.
• Interprets results to inform management on policy and program changes.
• Provides technical direction and represents the department on planning teams.
