Job summary

Northeast Health District seeks a Clinic Nurse Supervisor for its Commerce/Jackson County location within the Georgia Department of Public Health. You will oversee nursing care, programs, and staff, ensuring alignment with district protocols and public health goals.

You will lead clinical services, coordinate community health events, maintain high-quality patient care, and work under the Nurse Manager to support Georgian residents' health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages staff with responsibility for the functioning of assigned nursing care areas during assigned shifts.
• Provides clinical services to a target population following protocols.
• Chart information regarding patient: progress, diagnoses, medication, symptoms, and observations.
• Assumes responsibility for administrative decisions and notifies leadership on call when needed in County Nurse Managers absence.
• Provides leadership and creates and maintains a high performance environment.
• Works to continually improve the quality and timeliness of the provided care and services.
