Job summary

The Georgia Department of Public Health seeks a Clinic Nurse Supervisor for the Commerce location. You will oversee nursing programs, staff, and clinical services, following district protocols to protect community health.

Collaboration with Jefferson Clinic and local partners will coordinate care delivery and events to advance public health goals. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will join dedicated public health professionals supporting Georgia residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and current Georgia RN license; CPR certification.
• One year of nursing experience if Bachelor's; two years if Associate’s with PHN course completed.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages staff with responsibility for the functioning of assigned nursing care areas during assigned shifts.
• Provides clinical services to a target population following protocols.
• Chart information regarding patient progress, diagnoses, medication, symptoms, and observations.
• Assumes administrative decisions and notifies leadership on call when needed.
• Provides leadership and maintains a high performance environment.
