Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a Public Funding Manager to provide essential support to the Public Funds Team. The role involves clerical tasks, data entry, scheduling, and project-based work, with responsibilities spanning funding compliance, reporting, and coordination with partners.

The position is slated to last through May 2029. The role requires handling funding proposals, budgets, and program guidelines while maintaining strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant experience in public funding, grant administration, contract compliance, or nonprofit program administration.
• Knowledge of funding requirements, reporting, documentation, and contract compliance.
• Experience researching funding opportunities and preparing proposals, reports, and budgets.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage records and meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, funders, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and file management for the PF team.
• Stewardship: help develop program guidelines for contracts, submit reports, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines, support program staff, answering questions regarding compliance, updating documents.
• Research and submit funding proposals: collect and compile data on public funding opportunities, partner with staff and external partners to develop narratives and budgets.
• Support activities: attend community engagement meetings, volunteer activities,
