The People Concern is seeking a Housing Grant Manager to join the Housing Department at The Nest in Los Angeles. You will craft narratives for proposals, grant applications, and reports, and collaborate with developers and funders to secure funding for subsidized housing projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating RFPs, ensuring accurate materials, and maintaining grant calendars. A strong grant-writing background and knowledge of housing funding are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3–5 years grant writing experience.
• Knowledge of the affordable housing funding process.
• Strong written communication and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling narratives for proposals, grants, and reports.
• Coordinate RFPs and funding applications with program and finance staff.
• Liaise with developers and funders on contracts and funding submissions.
• Maintain grant submission calendars and reporting deadlines.
