Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to do or learn security tasks as shown by training/experience.
• Finalists subject to criminal background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Patrols buildings, grounds, and parking lots to observe unusual behavior and prevent vandalism or illegal activity.
• Enforces correction of infractions through verbal warnings, expels unruly persons, and may detain offenders for authorities.
• Monitor compliance with rules, regulations, and City ordinances related to security.
• Mediates disputes and refers enforcement matters to appropriate law enforcement.
• Responds to routine inquiries and directs visitors to appropriate areas.
• Escorts personnel after hours.
• Completes and maintains incident logs and field reports.
• Manages access levels to City employees and contractors.
