Job summary
Dallas County is seeking a skilled individual for the remodeling and maintenance of its facilities in Dallas, Texas. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying walls, and floor installation, among other carpentry tasks. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of utility experience or 45 hours of college coursework. A valid Texas Driver's License is required. Physical requirements include the ability to lift more than 50 pounds and climb ladders.
Qualifications
Three (3) years of utility related experience or 45 hours of college or a combination of the two.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints to ensure the proper materials are used for the job.
Lay floor tile, repair sheetrock walls, perform carpentry work and build all types of woodwork.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Graduation from an accredited high school/GED Program
