Job summary

Open Systems Technologies is seeking an SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to design and perform analysis of the organization’s financial results, including modeling and reporting for senior management. The role focuses on SEC filings, GAAP compliance, and building a framework to support public company status.

Qualifications

• SEC reporting experience in a public company
• Financial or regulatory reporting for a consolidated company
• Ability to research SEC guidance and apply to filings

Responsibilities

• Evaluates financial models to analyze monthly results and explain variances.
• Ensures adherence to financial regulations and audit requirements; liaises with auditors.
• Supports SEC reporting and public company financial reporting, including preparation and review of periodic filings and disclosures.
• Assists with preparation of financial reporting to regulators, investors, and the Board.
• Performs analysis of financial statements and key metrics to understand bank performance.
• Reviews forecasts and modeling for timeliness and accuracy.
• Leads planning and re-forecasting activities and updates forecast models.
• Monitors GL journal activity during closing to ensure accuracy of statements.
• Reviews departmental reports and management presentations for decision-making.
• Mentors junior Financial Analysts on complex challenges.
