Job summary

Open Systems Technologies is seeking an SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to design and perform analysis of the organization’s financial results, focusing on SEC reporting, GAAP, and disclosures for a public company. This role partners with Controllership to ensure accurate recording and reporting, using Workiva for SEC filings and Oracle for the GL.

Must-have: SEC reporting experience, financial/regulatory reporting for a consolidated company, and ability to research SEC guidance.

Qualifications

• Must have SEC/financial reporting experience for a consolidated company.
• Ability to research SEC or regulatory guidance and apply to filings.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory disclosures is required.
• Banking industry experience and WaFd merger project exposure are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates monthly financial results to identify drivers and variances.
• Ensures GAAP compliance and audit readiness.
• Supports preparation of SEC filings and related disclosures.
• Prepares financial reporting to regulators, investors and Board.
• Analyzes bank performance metrics, cash flows and headcount.
• Reviews forecasts and ensures timely, accurate results.
• Leads planning, forecasting, and forecast-model updates.
• Monitors GL journal entries during close to ensure accuracy.
• Mentors junior financial analysts.
