Job summary

Evergreen Treatment Services is seeking a Systems and Benefits Coordinator in the Seattle area to serve as the REACH program’s benefits lead. You will guide enrollment in entitlements, provide staff training, and resolve complex benefits questions with a harm-reduction, client-centered mindset.

You will collaborate with partners to remove barriers to access, track systemic gaps, and advocate for more equitable policies. Local travel is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Additional education preferred.
• Four years minimum experience providing outreach to people who use drugs and are living unsheltered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the REACH subject matter expert on public benefits, providing training, technical assistance, and case consultation to staff navigating complex systems.
• Collaborate with government entities, community partners, and stakeholders to strengthen coordination and improve system-wide responses for people experiencing homelessness.
• Identify systemic barriers to benefits access, track trends and gaps, and use data and client input to inform advocacy for more equitable and accessible systems.
• Maintain accurate client records, track services, and complete required documentation and reporting in alignment with agency and contract standards.
• Participate in team meetings, cross-site coordination, and organizational initiatives focused on advancing equity and dismantling systemic barriers.
