Job summary

Evergreen Treatment Services is seeking a Systems and Benefits Coordinator to support the REACH program. You will serve as the subject matter expert on public benefits, guiding staff and assisting clients in enrolling in entitlements and maintaining access to housing and treatment resources.

You will collaborate with partners to address barriers affecting people experiencing homelessness, advocate for policy improvements, and track outcomes to improve equity across services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
• Four years minimum experience providing outreach to people who use drugs and are living unsheltered; experience with homelessness and behavioral health preferred.
• Knowledge of public benefits programs (SSI, ABD, MEDICAID, housing, treatment access) and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with harm reduction principles and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as REACH subject matter expert on public benefits, offering training and guidance to staff.
• Coordinate with Care Managers to help clients access and maintain benefits and housing opportunities.
• Advocate for policy and process improvements to expand access to essential resources.
