Job summary

Evergreen Treatment Services (ETS) seeks a Client Milieu Coordinator for the REACH program in Western Washington. This full-time, on-site role opens and maintains a warm milieu daily, engaging clients served by REACH and coordinating activities and groups.

The position requires trauma‑informed, harm‑reduction approaches, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage client flow and safety. Collaboration with care managers is essential to deliver supportive services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate degree preferred. Academic training in the social service field and related experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience providing healing-centered services from a harm-reduction perspective is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, hospitable, and welcoming environment for clients in the REACH space.
• Develop rapport and trusting relationships with clients through respectful, healing-centered engagement practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and provide information and referrals as needed.
• Orient new clients to the milieu, including client rights and responsibilities.
• Orient new staff to the milieu and support trauma-informed care approaches.
• Collaborate with Care Managers to set up self-care plans for all REACH clients.
• Maintain order at the front desk and manage client check-in.
• Document all relevant client interactions in the agency records.
