Job summary

Teller County Government is seeking an entry level Case Manager trainer to guide staff through eligibility determination and documentation review. This role provides daily oversight, policy interpretation, and quality assurance to ensure accurate, timely delivery of public assistance services.

Responsibilities include managing caseloads, data entry accuracy, and coordinating with supervisor to address performance concerns. Local travel may be required for meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welfare reform statutes and program goals.
• Ability to interpret laws, rules, and policies accurately.
• Strong customer service, data entry, and confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Train entry level Case Managers on eligibility and data entry for multiple public assistance programs.
• Provide daily oversight, policy interpretation, and quality review for staff performance.
• Review case documentation for accuracy and authorize benefit releases.
• Manage assigned caseload and maintain data in the state system from application to closure.
• Identify potential program fraud and initiate investigations when needed.
