Qualifications

• Knowledge of public assistance programs and eligibility requirements.
• Knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and positive public relations.
• Detail oriented, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality and proper release of information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a vital customer service role with direct contact via in-person and telephone helpline.
• Listen to clients, advise on available assistance and timely process applications/benefits, or request further documentation.
• Interview clients, interpret policies and procedures, and handle a large caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide reliable information and assist with documentation to ensure eligibility determinations.
