Position Overview

The Housekeeping Public Area Attendant maintains cleanliness and appearance of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other common spaces, creating a positive first impression and ensuring a clean, comfortable environment.

Job Functions

1. Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Clean and sanitize public areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures; wipe surfaces.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Empty trash and replace liners.

1. Restroom Care:

• Clean and disinfect restrooms.
• Replenish supplies.
• Monitor cleanliness and perform touch-ups.

1. Public Area Setup:

• Arrange furniture and decor.
• Ensure signage and promotional materials are displayed correctly.
• Set up amenities to enhance guest experience.

1. Equipment Care:

• Maintain cleaning equipment.
• Report malfunctions.
• Store supplies properly.

1. Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols.
• Use PPE as required.
• Report hazards or incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in hotel or related field preferred.
