Primary Mission

The Public Areas Attendant maintains cleanliness in lobby, pool, public areas, and restrooms, supporting the housekeeping team without disrupting hotel operations or guest comfort.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned public areas, including dusting, trash removal, and inspecting furniture and fixtures.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and public washrooms are cleaned regularly.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and report maintenance issues.
• Follow safety policies and report guest issues to management.
• Support team with special projects and adhere to work priorities.

Qualifications

Experience: 1+ year in housekeeping or hospitality preferred but not required.

Education: High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Other skills include excellent customer service, communication, organizational skills, energy, and teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills are preferred.

Additional Expectations

• Adhere to company safety, security, and payroll policies.
• Availability to work during hotel hours, including some weekends and holidays.
• Travel as needed for training or meetings.
