Salary: $20 - $23 / per hour

*Trainings and all compensable time are paid at $16.50/hr

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Companion Caregiver to provide services to patients/clients in their residences.

Responsibilities:

• Provides “hands-off” care such as:
  • Encouraging socialization
  • Promoting mild exercise
  • Reminding clients to take medications
  • Supervising safety during bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Assisting with grocery shopping and light housekeeping
  • Performing other duties as assigned
• Arrives on time and completes scheduled shifts
• Performs duties accurately and promptly
• Follows infection control procedures to safeguard clients

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker/Provider preferred
• Ability to perform tasks professionally and adhere to policies
• Compassionate nature and strong interpersonal skills preferred
• Effective communication skills preferred
• Proficiency in English required
• Computer skills required
