Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about both in-store and digital services and solutions to drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up, ensuring exceptional quality.

Role Skills and Experience:

  • Communicating and interacting with guests to build an inclusive guest experience
  • Problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve concerns
  • Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
  • Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings, and services

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a service culture that prioritizes guest experience, including authentic greeting, understanding guest needs, and offering assistance
  • Scanning and bagging items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards
  • Minimizing guest wait times while maintaining service quality
  • Informing guests about brand launches, store activities, and loyalty programs, assisting with sign-up
  • Using and demonstrating the Target App, Wallet, and fulfillment services
  • Handling returns, de-escalating negative situations, and partnering with leaders as needed
  • Supporting order pick-up, drive-up, and registry services
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Supporting guest services and maintaining compliance with laws and policies
  • Performing other duties as needed based on business requirements
