FIDELITY HOTEL is hiring for a PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT

Fidelity Hotel is an adaptive reuse project located at 1940 E. 6th Street in the historic 103-year-old Baker Building. Fidelity Hotel will have 97 guest rooms & suites, each with tailored amenities, custom-designed furniture, and thoughtfully curated art. The property will feature a full-service restaurant, bar, event & meeting spaces, and a private dining room. Fidelity Hotel is an homage to Cleveland’s long-standing ideals. What you'll do:

  • Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, training material, memos, and verbal instruction
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness for all hotel public areas including public restrooms, lobby, fitness center, pool area, and guest corridors as applicable
  • Replenish public area guest amenities on a regular basis including toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, etc.
  • Remove linen and trash from all vacated guest rooms proper to room attendant service
  • Complete any guest requests in a timely fashion
  • Maintain guest corridor and back of house cleanliness throughout the shift
  • Report and correct any deficiencies noted in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
  • Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
  • Possess knowledge of all guest services and amenities
  • Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome
  • Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the work area

Who you are:

  • You have a high school diploma or general education degree preferred.
  • Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • You can interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.
