Public Area Attendant, The American Club

Opportunity

Join our detail-oriented housekeeping team and help maintain the beauty and charm of our guest rooms and facilities.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

1. Clean public sitting rooms, hallways, and restroom areas throughout the hotel.
2. Clean and maintain restaurants and banquet halls.
3. Sweep and vacuum carpets and area rugs.
4. Polish furniture and fixtures.
5. Vacuum and polish elevators.
6. Keep the front of the hotel free from trash.
7. Clean rugs, carpets, tiled floors, and upholstered furniture using appropriate cleaning equipment.
8. Perform daily assigned tasks for restrooms, lifts, back areas, terrace, etc.
9. Follow the special cleaning schedules provided by the housekeeping control desk or management.
10. Report maintenance issues immediately to supervisor or housekeeping desk.
11. Comply with the hotel's lost and found policy.
12. Assist guests in public areas when required.

We have seasonal second shift opportunities available. Shifts are primarily from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Weekend availability is required.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Prior hotel/lodging experience is helpful but not necessary.
• Candidates must tolerate being on their feet most of the day and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $17.00. The specific hourly rate may vary based on experience, education, and location.
